Benny Fung

Benny Fung was born and raised in Hong Kong. He started dance training at 16 as a member of Hong Kong contemporary Dance Company. In 1999 he studied at Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts on scholarship, where he performed frequently, receiving many awards. Since coming to the U.S. in 2000, he has continued his training at PDT and recently graduated from California Institute of the Arts in dance. He has performed in soloist roles in PDT's Nutcracker, including Chinese, Waltz, and Spanish soloist. He has also performed in various contemporary works by Laurence Blake, Scott Putman, and Peter Kalivas, among others.
